After graduating with a B.A. in English from Clarke College, I spent several years in the Chicago area working in publishing and public relations. In 2000 I returned home to Northern Wisconsin, joining my mother Peggy at Headwaters Real Estate and becoming a consistent top producer.  I became broker/owner of Headwaters Real Estate in May of 2007 when Mom decide to retire from ownership and I bought the business.  I reside in Presque Isle with my family, enjoying fishing, hiking, boating and simply living among the splendor nature has saved for "Wisconsin's Last Wilderness."

I started Headwaters Real Estate since 1979, when I opened my combined real estate and law office in beautiful "downtown" Presque Isle.  In May of 2007 I sold the business to my daughter Bonnie, but remain an active agent and attorney.  My 23 years of experience in real estate and real estate law in the Presque Isle area has prepared me to give you excellent service in all aspects of the real estate transaction.

I have covered every inch of the terrain and know almost everyone in the area. My three children were raised here and are now raising their children in "Wisconsin's Last Wilderness." My husband and I moved to the area 10 years ago, choosing to raise our two young daughters in the beautiful Northwoods.  It was the best move we made.   The girls have since grown – one is in high school, the other is away at college.  My “retired” husband, Howie, is now a full time fishing guide and has shared his knowledge of the area lakes with me.
