Merry Christmas from the team at Headwaters!

2003 has been an exciting year for us!  Our own neck of the woods saw a very active year in real estate.  Best wishes to all of our sellers who have (temporarily) left the area, and welcome to those of you who are newly local.  We moved into our expanded office space this summer, and now have six agents working hard to exceed your expectations.  We also welcomed Lisa Byrnes, Office Manager, to our full time staff.  While the business is growing, we remain your hometown, local resource for all of your real estate needs in the Presque Isle area.  Our agents consider themselves lucky to live in 'Wisconsin's Last Wilderness' and we thank you for a great year!

Although it's the holiday season, our office has been anything but quiet over the past few weeks.  Is now a good time to buy?  There is a window of opportunity between now and Superbowl Sunday, while sellers are contemplating being on the market in the year ahead amidst the quiet of the holidays.  A good time to make an offer, especially on homes or properties that have been on the market for six months or more.
We've also noticed a lot of activity in off water purchases; for example all of the Natural Lakes vacant land that was listed this fall is already under contract, excepting two remaining lots.  If waterfront price tags leave you breathless, look into our many vacant off water offerings now and in the year ahead.

Whatever you're considering, know that you are making a solid investment.  Out-performing even the stock market for the third year in a row, real estate has become the very best investment decision you can make.  Real estate has seen solid 10% annual increases nationally, and returns are even better in our unique and beautiful area.  The only real estate firm in Presque Isle, our team of local agents at Headwaters are looking forward to another great year in 2004.  See you Up North!
