Owls of Wisconsin  Wedneday, February 1, 1pm, Frank Koller Memorial Library on Hwy 51 in Manitowish Waters.  Learn to identify owls by their calls and amazing adaptations.  In attendance will be Orion, an educational horned owl.  Bring a bag lunch, part of the Brown Bag Educational Series.  Free program, donations appreciated.
Family Snowshoe Celebration Saturday, February 4, 11-5.  Celebrate the opening of the Tera Lila Nature Trails in Eagle River.  Guided hikes on the hour, snowshoe demos, food, campfires, and a candlelit snowshoe at 5pm.  Sponsored by the Northwoods Childrens Museum, call 715-479-4623 for more information.
